the heart of Tokyo you will enjoy an inexpensive, cozy, and convenient
stay at the Toukaisou
Ryokan. We are located in
Asakusa, the heart of the old downtown (Shitamachi) Tokyo, an area
reminscent of
traditional Japan, which is
quite rare in modern-day Tokyo. |

Our RYOKAN
is
located very near ASAKUSAEKappabashi Kitchenware Town and
UENO(you can walk within 25min).
Also, our location provides good access to
TSUKIJI (24min), TOKYO TOWER (37min),
ROPPONGI (33min),
AKIHABARA (15min) and DISNEYLAND (50min)
etc., all within an hour (as noted) by either train or subway.

All rooms are private and are individually equipped with tatami flooring, a bath tub AND shower, toilet, air conditioner / heater, and TV. Yukata (Japanese bathrobes), a hair dryer, towels, toothbrushes, razors, soap, tea sets [with tea], and hot water is also provided. There is also an
Internet-accessible computer in the lobby that may be used (during
office operating hours 8am - 11pm) free of charge. On the roof there is a
coin-operated washing machine and dryer, as well as room to hang your
clothing to dry in the Tokyo sun. |

Ryokan
Toukaisou," but in a slightly different style. Features include:

while there are ATMs in this area, ATMs in Japan operate ONLY during

Please tell us about any changes to your reservation as soon as possible and at least 2 DAYS BEFORE. We need to charge you for the room if you cancel the DAY OF the reservation or the DAY BEFORE the reservation. |

| From GINZA LINE -TAWARAMACHI station (about 5 min.): Take Exit No. 3 and walk straight forward up to the fifth block, on the corner of the fifth block there is a 24-hour "sushi" shop named wSUSHI-ICHIBANxin kanji υiκΤ and Gyu-Kaku (you will see Denny's and the ROX building across the street). Turn left at that corner and then make a right turn to the SECOND block. You will find us on the left-hand side of the street with a blue & white signboard out front. |
